Poson Program - Saturday, June 10, 2006
This is a very special time for us. This commemorates when King Asoka’s son Ven. Mahinda came to Sri Lanka and brought us the Buddha’s teaching. We will be having our Poson Program and would be very happy if you could join us and please bring your children.
Starting July 5, Ven. Piyananda is teaching a sutta class every Saturday from 3-5 pm. This is free to the public. Just show up.
Meditation at the beach!
This summer, every Wednesday morning, Ven. Piyananda is teaching meditation at Santa Monica Beach at early hours of the day. Contact the Vihara for more details
Starting July 12, Bodhi Pooja to open the Vassana (rainy) season. Poojas will be held every Saturday. All are invited.
